The article deals with the design of the control concept of the sorting conveyor device, which is controlled using a programmable logic automaton. Sensors for detecting objects are designed, and manipulation mechanisms for sorting products according to the detected properties of objects are also designed. It is possible to sort according to the material or according to the dimensions of the objects. The simulation confirms the correctness of the designed control concept. In the next part, a visualization of the simulation of the designed control concept is shown.
