Distinguished State Award Received by Dr.h.c. mult. prof. Ing. Franti¹ek Trebuņa, CSc.Editorial, Editorial article

21 anniversary of creation of Slovak Republic was an occasion for a president of Slovak Republic, Ivan Ga¹parovič to award the state prizes. The state prizes are given to outstanding individuals for achievements in the field of culture, science, technique or education. Sixteen persons received various prizes. One of them was a dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering TUKE, Dr.h.c. mult. prof. Ing. Franti¹ek Trebuņa, CSc.
Prof. Trebuņa has been awarded by Order of the „udovķt ©tśr II. class for outstanding merit and lifetime achievement in the field of education, science, technique as well as for excellent presentation of Slovak republic abroad.
The prizes were awarded in a solemn ceremony in the Knight Hall of Bratislava castle on January 7, 2014.
