AB  - Developments in transport, the world's geopolitical order and technical innovations at the beginning of the millennium have also brought the real threat of terrorism back to civil aviation. The biggest catastrophe was the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 in the USA. Following this event, global terrorism became a much-discussed issue in today's world, while current threats have motivated significant improvements and tighter security in civil aviation in all developed countries around the world.
