AB  - This paper is devoted to the application of methods for contours and shapes comparison of objects represented as two-dimensional point clouds obtained during segmentation of data from a laser scanning system. The methods considered allow estimating the displacement of objects in the field of view of the scanning system. Methods are considered on the basis of Euclidean distances, Hausdorff metrics, invariant moments and shape context.
