The analyses that allow to determinate and prolongate life time include quantifications of influences of production, overloading and maintenance and they allow determining limit values under which the failure of machine can occure. Such methods are important in decition process of managers of maintenance in questions of excluding of equipment from production process or in planing of maintenance. Accordingly, they contribute to elimination of results of failures and to the increasing of their reliability. In the paper is given a procedure for assessment of failure prediction and to prolongation of life time of casting pedestal.
