AB The contribution presents results of measurements and evaluation of concentrations of nano- and microparticle aerosols in a joinery, metallurgical operation and uranium ore mine. The obtained results have been analyzed from the viewpoint of potential toxicity and in respect to the shape of nanoparticles. The contribution also presents results of tests of effectiveness of respirators as primary and basic personal protection equipment.
