AB In this article is attention focused on mechanical properties of selected PET material, which test samples were made from PET bottles. Notice that is already used packaging material. Test samples were stored in environment degradation with higher temperature with the aim to simulate the term conditions in summer. The test samples were gradually picked from environment degradation in exactly specified time cycles. After that there was done the tensile test to determine mechanical properties of these test samples - yield strength, tensile strength and relative extension.
