Hot-dip galvanized steel sheets of DX54D+Z quality were used for experiments. Electrochemical properties of used materials were observed. Carrying capacities of spot resistance welds were measured before as well as after exposure in corrosive environment. The tensile test was used for evaluation of carrying capacities. The quality of spot welds was evaluated on the base of microhardness measurements results realized on the scratch patterns too.
